Mopeds are evil. Moped riders are evil.
A Honolulu man may have tried to kill a moped rider on Lusitana Street last week. I’m not saying he should have hit the moped with his car, but I understand.
Mopeds make a horribly loud, irritatingly nauseatingly screechy whining noise as they zoom down the street below my bedroom window at 2:47 in the morning. Mopeds have only two speeds. Stopped, and 45 miles per hour in a 25 mile per hour speed zone.
Apparently, you don’t need a license to drive a moped. Or, intelligence. Only bipeds of the chimpanzee family drive mopeds at 2:47 in the morning.
Honolulu police say the moped rider honked while passing a car on Lusitana Street. The car’s driver then pulled up behind and hit the moped with his car. As is the case in most moped accidents, the rider suffered head injuries. The driver of the car was arrested. Life just isn’t fair.
