Chances are good that if you like big, meaty, juicy burgers, you’ll like Teddy’s Bigger Burgers in Honolulu burgers are bigger. You’ll pay a little more for the privilege of a bigger burger.
The place carries a 50′s motif with soft drinks, milk shakes, thick fries, and plenty of combo burgers that combine local ingredients and style to the traditional, big, thick, juicy burger.
We just wish Teddy’s would take some of the extra profit in one of those giant burgers, and pay someone to wash the windows a little more often.
The exterior windows and doors in the Beretania Street Teddy’s, our most frequented burger joint, look as if they’ve been attacked by screaming hoards of 5th graders from Liliuokalani, fresh from a finger painting contest.
All it would take is a little Windex, a small towel, one of the teeny bopper waitresses, and some elbow grease and the windows would look as pristine as the menu.
